The first "Skate around the world in 24 hours" is scheduled to take place on 23/24 of October 2004.
Skaters from around the world will skate scheduled in a way that 24 consecutive hours are covered.
Every kilometer skated by the fastest skaters will result in a donation to Unicef (www.unicef.org).
Compared to the first version of the concept there was a major change:
The restriction of the maximum number of participating skaters was removed.
Everybody registering before the deadline (16th of October) can contribute to this event.
You are warm-heartedly invited to take part and make the world and wheels turn around.
